What’s In A Dream?

TODAY’S LIFE LESSON: shares the road of hopes and dreams and asks us if we are ready to live the life we are dreaming of. Each of us has a dream inside that has been calling us into action for the longest time. How do we know if it is a dream worth living or just a dream that is challenging us to grow and change?
The most important thing to discover is if the dream has meaning for you, or are you always wondering what it meant. Does it have a message that keeps being repeated or is it slightly different each time? Dreams are subconscious guidelines that we are sending ourselves to pay attention to.
There are dreams that send us messages, there are dreams that have deeper meaning and then there are dreams that are an overall reflection of how we are living our life.
MESSAGE= the point of the overall theme
MEANING= the underlying purpose that is revealed
MORAL= the theme has a life lesson quality to discover
Earth Changes Dream

This dream took place in a huge church where we were having a meeting about the earth changes. There were a lot of people there and my husband and I sat up at the front on the right side. My friend Angela and her husband Joe were there sitting to our right, and I was to the right of my husband.
The speaker was standing in front of the crowd asking and answering peoples questions. My husband kept speaking up and responding to nearly everything he said. He was actually very bold and vocal about a lot of things. (normally my husband is very quiet and withdrawn from discussions). When it ended, we all filed out into the halls to leave but the halls led through the back of other churches having similar meetings
My friend Angela came up from behind me and gave me a big hug and said I miss you (they moved away a long time ago and we have not seen each other). We were not really speaking when they moved away, so the gesture was a total and welcomed surprise.
Now lets look at the keys of discovery within this dream:
- a huge church= an important belief or idea that affects my community
- everything on the right= ideas and actions that are required by me
- speaking up= a need to speak up about things that have been kept silent
- church hallways connected= many beliefs coming together with the same concerns or challenges to work on
- reunion of friend= a form of connection that reflects forgiveness and friendship
The time has come for all communities to combine their beliefs and ideas to work together and share with forgiveness.

I was at a horse race event and we were watching the horses finish the last race of the day. I was with a group of people who were all sitting at the same table. Three really cute young men came over and were talking to us for a while. They seemed interested in who we were and why we were there. One of them who was blonde, blue eyed and very handsome stayed with me and asked me if I would like to leave with him. I looked over at my friend Mary and she was busy talking to the other poeple so I motioned that I was leaving with the young mand and she nodded.
By the time I got out of the building, I was looking for my car and didn’t see it anywhere. I took my ticket and went over to a man in a parking booth and asked him if he could tell by the numbers on the ticket where I would be parked. He looked and said – “oh you are way over on the other side of the complex, and it is very far away.” I said “isn’t there a way of getting a ride around to the other side since I was wearing high heals and it would be very uncomfortable to walk that far. He said ‘no’, then he seemed to get an idea and he said ‘he would call his wife to come and take me if I would pay her well.’
I felt a tap on my shoulder and it was my friend Wanda. She grabbed the ticket out of the man’s hand and gave him a disgusted look and said she would take me to my car instead. She dropped me off at my vehicle, and asked me if I would like to meet here at her house for some tea. I said I would be glad to and that I appreciated her help getting me back to my vehicle. When I arrived at her house, it was a huge old Victorian Mansion with amazing wood paneling and winding staircase. There were huge paintings on the walls of ancestors and family portraits. She walked through with me to a massive solarium area that used to be an indoor garden area, but was now in rough state with grass and weeds. I thought of my husband Don who would love to bring this area back to life and its former grandeur.
We then went into an area where there was an atrium with lush plants and lots of sunlight coming through. I said I didn’t remember her living in such an amazing place but that it would make an awesome healing centre for people to come and gather. She agreed, but felt she could not do it by herself any longer and that it would take a large group of people working together to make things work well. End of Dream.
Now lets look at the key points of this dream:
- horses = freedom
- good looking young man = noticeable ideas or projects
- people challenging me= an opportunity to learn something about myself
- friends I know= things I am already working with that are familiar
- being given a ride/assistance= allowing myself to be helped by others
- finding my vehicle= accepting my body as it is where it is
- old Victorian Mansion= a trip back in time to where things were abundant and affluent for me
- solarium= a place in me where the light used to shine that needs to be opened up again
- atrium= a new light in my life where there is lush, vibrant light and new growth
- healing centre= a gathering place for other people like me who want to come together /work together
When we take a closer look at the individual components within the dream, the messages are pointing to a part of myself that is in transition and change. This helps me take a look at how these clues and keys can enhance my understanding or inspire me to make decisions.

TODAY’S LIFE LESSON: sometimes we just need to stop and smell the roses we are becoming. The true test of a soul is to be able to embrace the moment with complete surrender and abandon as we allow the blessings to rain down upon us. Life can seem so powerfully accelerated these days and it is important to be able to:
DREAM= the unlimited possibilities that comes from inner visions
PONDER= the direction that life is going and choose the best possible path
IMAGINE= a world where you are powerfully loved and physically safe
